Brake Booster Mounting Brackets

Post by maxmac »

Does anyone know where I can buy the Ugly Truckling or comparable booster mounting brackets? I purchased a booster/dual master setup but am coming up empty on finding the hardware to mount it to my firewall - 1966 D-100 Town Wagon.

Take a look at this post on how I did the install on my Town Wagon, the brackets for a Town Wagon are simple to make from some 1" x3/4" bar stock (note that the drawing shows 2" bar stock this is for a Sweptline, on a Townie it is 1", the hole dimensions and spacing are the same).

I made an adapter plate from my old master cylinder. I chopped off the flange in a chop saw, welded in some studs and drilled a hole in the new master cylinder. Presto, changeo!
