Wheel Fitment

Post by Maxhr190 »

Hi Good people,
I am installing my Scarebird conv. on my 64' longbed sweptline, The front wheels will not fit even after grinding off corners, tomorrow is salvage yard day for wheels that will fit, there is a 77' Dodge D100 with front disk brakes there with stock wheels, does anyone know if those will fit as I don't know if the yard will let me return them of they don't work. I just need a plain steel rim however it would be nice if the stock hub cap fit too.
Thanks

Don't get on here much so I'm late to this post. Even though I don't like to use them, 1/4 inch spacers worked for me. I'm using Wheel Vintiques stock 15 x 7 steelies on the front that wouldn't clear even with grinding. With the spacers no problem. Hope this helps.
