Crown Vic IFS track width?
Anyone here done the Crown Vic IFS subframe? I'm thinking about doing this, but I need to know the track width of the Ford. If it's wider or more narrow than the factory Dodge straight axle. I've already got the wheels I want and I'm not looking for any weird offset crap or wheel spacers.
Info anyone?

I'd suggest doing a site search, as there is a lot of information on various front

Re: Crown Vic IFS track width?
The '92 - '02 subs use the same offset wheels as our trucks do. The '03 - '13 cars have a positive offset wheel. The truck frame does require notching. From what I've heard about the install of the CV/GM sub, the ride is improved tenfold over the stock straight axle. I might do this to the stock '68 I have, if I don't sell the truck first.

Re: Crown Vic IFS track width?
A guy out here in CA said he would convert mine to a Crown Vic IFS, handle the motor mounts, power steering, steering shaft, and power brakes for $2500. He also said the width is 67", which would be very wide. I haven't verified any of this or decided if I'm going to do it, since I haven't seen his work.
