Use the rag joint that came with the box. If you want something different or a U joint http://www.borgeson.com/ has a lot of options.

Hi everyone I am new to this site but have been reading it for a little over a year. A lot of good info here thanks to all that have posted. I got a 1967 D200 a little over a year ago. It had had been sitting for almost 15 years, It had a 1962 318 polly and 727 in it. The polly was not running, I have built several cars in the past and still have a 48 plymouth coupe and a 55 chevy 150 both are driven often. So now I have rebuilt a 72 dodge 318 LA motor and installed it in the D200, rebuilt the 727 and the Dana rearend, hot tanked the gas tank and radiator did some electrial, also all new brakes and installed a power boster. I am having a great time driving this as my daily driver. I have been reading, here, about the power steering that Kurt and a couple have done. I called CPP today as I was going to get the parts to do as Kurt had done, The sales person said that if I could wait about another month that Frank should have the whole kit ready to go. So maybe we are close to getting this done.

Good to know....thanks for the update. Considering this set-up for my '66 d200,only because I'm will be pulling a trailer to residential job sites. Really hard to maneuver the big beast at present.

I am the other guy that bought a box , and with the pattern from Kurt I installed the steering gear and P/S pump. Have been finishing the rest of the truck all winter. So ready to see how it would drive down the road. I remember the driving it in the old days it did not drive to bad, but what a *#%^$ to back a trailer, or turn around in a hurry. Well Sweptline fans I drove it down the road today and OMG like a new truck. Had to do a hurry turn around and it was GREAT. A couple of things. You will need to shim the front axle for the caster, over steers a little. I'll play with that and let you know which shims I use. The pitman arm that came with kit worked ok I don't think I need to get the other from CPP. It is only 1" shorter and drives ok. So if CPP gets there stuff together and get these kits ready to sell GET one. If not make the plate of Kurt's drawing and ask him or me if you have any Q's.

Well it was on the 31st when I was told not an April fools joke I believe Chuck he has been a dealer for CPP for many years he owns a street rod shop here in Seattle area been talking to someone at CPP that he deals with and orders from this person called him and left a massage that they are ready so call chuck maybe they only are going to go to dealer at first

This $499 price is only a partial kit and was not the information that was to be released yet. This only includes the gear box, pitman arm, and floor plate. We are planning on expanding that kit to make it more like what Mr. Bowen posted pictures of which will also include custom hoses and rag joint but that will also increase the price. We are working on this now and should have a final release soon.
