67 D200 brakes (again)

Post by OlRed »

Ok, here is where I am so far. Rough prices, $50 for a set of front pads $50 for rear (same pads on all 4 corners). $35 a pop for front cyliners, $60 a pop for rears. That last one hurt a bit. Toss in 2 new front hoses, one new rear, 4 new axle seals misc brake line, etc, etc. This is one expensive brake job. All together but the rear hubs. Can't seem to find how to set the pre load on the rear hub bearings. Anyone here know the numbers? I'm guessing torque inner nut, back off, torque again (while spinning hub), then set outter nut. Just need the torque numbers. Can't wait to get this thing stopping so I can see how long the rest lasts before I get MOPAR greasy again.
