Hey new member here with a 66 Fargo long box sweptline.I am looking for a remedy for the rear wheel hop I get when ever I giver off the line. It is a 225 with 3 speed half ton.Hope to get some some pics on soon,its a low miler fresh custom restoration that turned out really nice.Also lovin this site and all the cool trucks

you could try a set of traction bars, i dont think they are to expensive.

To be clear, are you spinning the tires or is the truck just shaking real bad? If the latter, it's likely the clutch.

Yeah its when my wheels are spinning and Im going strait off the line.I might have to look into those traction bars, are those something I can build myself.

my truck has a home made set but my grandfather was a machinist....
i can take some photos for ya when i get a chance as to what they look like but like i said i think they are rather inexpensive.
try jeggs or summit to see what they look like and prices.

You could use torque rods like the HPP trucks had.
