Front brake parts 64 D100

Post by CharleyDavidson »

Went to get shoes, spring kit and wheel cylinder rebuild kit for the front of my 64 D100 at Auto Zone. They had the shoes (same front & rear) but not the rebuild kit (had to be ordered) and the spring kit was N/A. Who has this stuff in stock? Is mine auto adjust or will I need to upgrade? if so is this an usually in stock item?

Thanks in advance, Charley

When I bought my early '65 D100, it
did not have the self adjusting front brakes.
It did have the dual piston wheel cylinders.
I converted it to self adjusting brakes.
I buy all of my brake parts at NAPA.

There's a NAPPA one block away from my shop but not open on weekends, I'll check with them tomorrow. Thanks

Nobody seems to have a "kit" just all individual parts. Is there another kit from a different year that will work? if so do you have part #s? also what part # for the auto adj. kit? This is kinda urgent as I have my truck down and also taking up shop space.

Thanks in advance

The 65 D100 front adjusting kit is H2545 and the all in one kit is H7137 both from Autozone.

Does anyone know of this kit will work on a 64 d200?
Haven't messed with drum brakes in 20 years and they were self adjusting so I'm just trying to play it safe.
