closed nuckle brake lines

Post by j2007 »

I am working on putting new brake lines on my large nuckle 44, and I am finding that it is difficult to get a sharp
enough bend to clear the nuckle from th cylinder, anyone have any Ideas?

coil your brake lines in a loop about 1 to 1.5 in dia at the corner where the bend needs to be made...this makes for a 90deg or sharper bend without having pinched the lines closed...just a thought. I haven't delt with this exact situation, but used this trick in a few tight spots on my d100.

I used something about the same diameter as re-bar right
after the fitting to make that bend on my large knuckle
brake lines.

also, I have new wheel cylinders, from napa, and they do not accept regular brake line threads. Anyone know what
they take?
