If you replace the rear Axle Unit so that it has Disc Brakes.
you will need to have Disc Brakes on the front too.

The 9.25 MoPar Rear Axle that was introduced in the Imperial
Division and the Chrysler Division in 1967 will accept the
torque of the 383 or 440 Six Pak about 10 years longer than
a Jeep unit after you break it next month.

**************************************************************************
Dodge Tks got the 9.25 unit in about 1972.
*************************************************************************

And you can get OEM MoPar Disc Brakes for them.

I never said I was putting the jeep rear axle in my truck, just the rear disc brake setup.
I have my answer from this thread so thanks for the help. I got what I was looking for.
