Greets to all, and Happy New Year.

The steering box on my all manual 70 D100 has apparently bitten the dust. I drove the truck a few blocks today and parked. Returned later and started the truck to go home and after making a right turn the steering went. Now the steering wheel turns and turns and turns and the wheels do nothing. Anyone know if there's aftermarket available or what I could look for in the junkyard? A bolt-in replacement would be ideal but I know how hard some of these parts are to find. This is my main vehicle and I need to get her back on the road ASAP. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

The box is the same in the 100's amd D-200s not sure how far back you can go, but 69 to 71 will work

someone may have his e-mail, Walt in Montana rebuilds them
and there are aother places as well.

Check the Links section on this site. You'll see the link to Vintage Power wagons Gearbox page. I believe it's under Parts Resources

Here is a direct link to the Sweptline Links Page.

There is member? in Wichita? that does them. Having a middle age moment on his name but Trey knows who I'm talking about.

So I retrieved a link to that thread which discusses a couple other sources.
