front brake drums
front brake drums
Does everybody have those front brake drums that you screw the bolt in to instead of wheel studs sticking out? I ordered new drums from Rock Auto and received what looks more like a rear brake drum.

Front brake drums on a D100 should be 11x2.5"(shoe size 11x2.25) and will look just
like a set of the rears (rears are 11x2"), the wheel studs have to be swedged
into the hub and drum at the same time. The wheel studs hold
the drum to the inside of the hub. DO not try to just bang the wheel
studs in with a big hammer, you will just wash out the holes, it's a job
for a press and a shop to swedge these in so they lock in place right.
