factory power steering

Post by taintedspeed »

i have purchased a factory power steering unit off of a swepty in a wrecking yard. i am wondering how to go about rebuilding the hydraulic ram. the hoses i can have made at my local parts store. i just need to know a little more about the ram and the way the system works as this is the first one i have seen.

Are you going to install that on a 2wd or 4wd ? Did you find a rebuilder for ram yet ? I ended up buying an aftermarket ram ( AGR

rock ram ) cause mine the rod was pitted up . Andy

@AGRPERFORMANCE.com Mine is 4wd so I had to modify everything anyway so aftermarket ram was ideal . Yours though might be better to search out a rebuilder and stay stock .I never found a place to rebuild mine stocker ram .
