Manual to Power Brakes, 67 D200.

Post by steven »

I need to know exactly what is involved here for an OEM style booster setup. And, will it work with a 5.7 hemi. Is there a vaccuum line from the Hemi that goes to power brakes? I would assume there would be. Thanks.

For manual tranny trucks with the clutch master/slave
set up, you'll need the stand-off bracket that goes
between the firewall and your power booster and the
correct long pushrod that accompanies it. If you need
verification on the vacuum port for the 5.7, I will
be happy to look at my '03 W2500 for you :Thumbsup

what john said about the bracket is too true, without it, you wont clear the clutch master. if you go auto, then you can still buy all the parts over the counter and its a bolt in swap. :Thumbsup
