master cylinder
I replaced the master cylinder, but it does not fit right. The rubber piece ( diaphram ) does not fit into the brake booster. Is there another master cylinder with a different end on it i wonder? I dont have the original master that was on there. It is drum brakes all the way round.
If you are referring to the bell shaped rubber cover that covers the pushrod, you don't use that when you have power brakes. Also, it's not a diaphram, it's just a dust cover. The round part of the master cylinder fits into the booster. There should be a rubber cover like that on the pushrod from pedal to booster.
