when driving down the road. my w300 4x4 shakes the it stops shaking at about every 3min. I dont know why.

Does it have a hanger bearing on the driveshaft? If so, that could be it. Sometimes it will roll smooth, but if its wore, it will rattle around. Just luck, whether its going smoothly or not.

same thing will happen if the slip yolks on the driveshafts have worn splines.
