four wheel disc brakes

Post by Sandstone »

at uglytruckling.com i ran across instructions and parts list for a disc brake set up for the front and rear on d100's. has anyone tried this? how well did it work? since i do a lot of towing with my 63 d100, i was thinking of triing it. it also had a master cylinder power booster setup.

ugly truckling has a nice kit. i havent used them personally, but i have heard good things from them. the rear disc set up is the same as any of them made for dodge cars. pretty much a universal kit for the 8.75 rear end. if you want a simpler upgrade to work better with your trailering. convert the jelly jar master cylinder you have over to a 67 modle dual bowl. aint very hard if your any good re running hard lines. and, by doing this you have the option of power brakes that you can still get parts for at napa. :Thumbsup

thanks wideblock. the dual bowl master cylinder sounds like a better option.
