Switching to power brakes

Post by sledgehammer »

I got a ‘68 D100. Got a power brake booster off a ‘69. Brake lines were rusted away so didn’t grab them. The new master cylinder for power brakes has the fittings switched; the 1/2” and 9/16” are switched around. And the 9/16 has a different thread count. I know I need to change out the 9/16” one because of threads but do I need to change both front to back (close to booster)? Still drums all around so not sure if it matters if front or rear brakes should be closest to master cylinder.
