Looks a little out adjustment now, arm off the carb should be all the way to the fire wall side in the slide on the arm, but hay is it's working who cares.....

What you will have to do is put everthing in place and see how it all lines up. You may have to rise the pivot point under the mount by putting spacers under mount on the intake bolts, or you may just have to make a longer arm (or you may have to do both).

What you might find with that setup is that you will need to rise the pivot mount and make the arm longer
between it and the trans arm. That may be the best way to do it. If I have a chance I will post some photos
of some of the kickdown mod's I have done.

The main thing is to make it not bind when used and
(like above) that when you install on the carb to have the kickdown arm pulled so that the arm on trans is all the way forward , install the carb side of the arm so that the arm on carb is all the way "back" in the slot(or arm on trans all the way back and mount on the carb with the carb all the way open).

Remember that the kickdown arm must be adjustable
so that lenght can be changed.

What I found on the intake a put on my Bel was that I had to put a spacer under the guide for the kickdown arm, this also had the cable to the peddle, and extended the kickdown arm. The cable also needed to be made longer, just took a little metal and made a extenstion to the end of the cable
to hook it to the carb.

Where do you find the part number on an Edelbrock carburetor? I don't know what series it is but I think it is a performer.
