Auto to Manual Tranny Swap

I've got a '67 Longbed 2wd that I'm redoing and I'm contemplating putting in a newer manual tranny inplace of the Auto. Like a Tremec 5spd or maybe even a 6spd. Has any one done an auto to manual swap in one of these trucks? The motor is a late model 360 block. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I am interested in your dash skin if it has the shifter on it, and no hole for a radio, and the ash tray on the top. I have a manual tranny dash skin out of a 1966 that looks nice. No holes in it. Might consider trading.
