Hello folks,
I don't see this in the archives, so here goes...my application is a '64 d100 with a built slant six and a 3.91 sure grip on an 8 3/4 axle set. I did the A833OD 4 speed swap, now want to try a 5 speed, but not the NP with the granny gear. Seems the NV3500 for a '00 to '04 Dodge Dakota might even bolt directly up.
(1) But I haven't found the gear ratios for a 4x4 tranny I picked up, and hope someone knows or knows a site to look at.
(2) the tranny has a flange on back for the transfer case, but no transfer case came with it. Is this any problem with using it for my 2wd app?
Thanks!

Found it a little ways down. I didn't see it say anything different for the 2wd or 4wd models.

I've been told that the slant 6 and the v-8s don't share the same bellhousing. I do know that tranny will bolt up to dodge v-6s and LA, Magnum, and New Hemi v-8s. If you look on page 2 in this forum you will find a thread I started on this subject. There is some basic info that is good to know. I don't know for sure but I would guess that you will need the 2wd version for your truck.
