Anyone know how to visually ID a set of 360 Heads vs. 318L/A Heads?

I was told the 360 had a little bigger ports on the intake side , but all the intakes will interchange , someone here can look up the casting # 's as there different hope this helps some

Hola ( _____ )

When you think you are looking at a 360 and the sec forgot to bring the head parts id book, try this. All 318's have squared corners on the lower outside outer exhaust ports and all 360's have a funny looking "Dog Leg" on the lower outide part of the outter ports.

From the driver's side look at the harmonic bal. If it is about an inch thick it is a 318. If it appears to be about a 1 1/2 inch thick, it is a 360.

NOTE: The AMC heads had this same " dog Leg " starting in 1970 on their V8's ( that's 2 yr's before the MoPar 360 ).
