timing for 383

My manual does'nt list the timing for a 383. i am about to swap it out to electronic ignition. Does anyone know the correct degrees btdc?

383 automatic should be around 12 degrees btdc, the big blocks are from 10-14 btdc works on all, unless its has a hairy cam :Thumbsup

the sticker under the hood on my 70 says 5 degrees, but, it is a california rig.
they have a funny way of doing smog settings here.
hell, when you buy a timeing chain and gear in this state they come with a built in 3 degree retard on the cam. [retarded, just like our govenor].
