Rear Axle Bearings - D100

Post by CSS-Registry »

hey y'all,

i would like to replace the rear axle bearings for my D100 truck but i'd like to use the "green" bearings that don't have the self adjusters. the 8.75 rear end is out of a 68 with the slip off drums.

does anyone have a NAPA part number for these? i'd like to go in armed with a number as the yahoos in my area don't know how to look up parts very well and i usually have to make two trips...

the reason i don't want to use the self adjuster type is at some point i plan on buying a 96 Jeep or some aftermarket rear disc setup and bolting it to my axle...

Thanks,
Ben

Ben, I wasn't aware that Napa had those. I work in auto parts, and I know BCA doesn't list them. I bought mine from the Dodge dealer.

Hi Jimmy,

do you remember any specifics with the dodge dealer?

I can get you the Mopar Perfomance part number in a little bit. I'll PM it to you.
