Motor mount position

Is there a certain way it’s supposed to set? The metal side folded up to face the front or to the firewall? And are both sides to fit in the same position?

What motor ? Slant six?

Took out slant 6 and putting in 318 from a 85 Chrysler

i'm thinking firewall
to keep engine from moving forward under heavy braking or if you hit something

The metal lip goes toward the front.
Late 65 w 200.
Factory LU-2 winch.
Updates: 205 transfer case,4.10 gears, disc brake Dana 60 front with lock out hubs
440 repower in the works
