Clutch Master Cyl brand?

Post by Jims68 »

So, my clutch master cyl. just started leaking... badly on my '68 D-100 all over my nice floor mat :shame . Anyway....... Mine is pretty old now so I'm looking to buy a new one. Whose brand is a good one? I see on Ebay DORMAN CM36066 for something like $55. My last one that has been faithful for many years is a Wagner F32839 but... I looked on Ebay and didn't see them, which probably means no longer available. Anyway... what did you use and where did you get it?

Get a stainless lined master and slave from John Geidl. He'll want your old ones as cores.
Thought you sold that truck Jim????

Nah... I still have it. It seems I don't really sell anything. Someday though! It was weird... the other day I went to replace the fuel filter, but I noticed the top of the fuel pump was damp/wet but NOT dripping on the garage floor. So, I bought a new Carter fuel pump and put it on yesterday. I backed the truck out and was planning on going and getting some gas and take a little drive. I backed it out of the garage, and got out to close the garage door. That's when I noticed all this "water" on the floor. I was wondering how and why and that's when I realized it wasn't water but brake fluid. Oh well... back into the garage it went. It's all part of the game, isn't it?
