Unfortunately I am not near my vehicle so I can't measure it. What is the length of the speedo cable for a '67 D100 with a 318 and 727? The various sites show 2 lengths are available and I don't want to order the wrong one. Thanks.

The cable on a 4x4 will longer than a 4x2 as it is hooked to the transfer case and is hooked to the transmission on the 4x2.

Thanks. So I will order the shorter one.

I'd recommend against a parts store cable. I had utilized one as a replacement. The cable had the wrong lay. So it would wind up and release. This caused the speedometer needle to oscillate wildly. Of course, I wasn't suspecting the new cable. So I chased my tail for awhile.
To test the cable, clamp one end in a vise. Pull it taunt and attempt to rotate the other end counter clockwise. There should be little movement.
I finally ended up acquiring a replacement cable from Bob's Speedometer:
