Did any of the Sweptline era trucks have factory Speed / Cruise Control?

Engine, transmission, rear-end, driveline, fuel system etc..

If so..... does anyone have photos of the servo mounting bracket ?

Just went through a 70 Dealer Brochure I have and no mention anywhere in it regarding cruise as an option. :thinking :thinking

Simplest route would to be to add a throttle control. They essentially keep the accelerator from returning to rest position. Trucks with PTO winches often had them. My 75 W600 has one, I use it in cold weather as a fast idle.

Or find a car from same era & adapt it to yours.

I am interested in the original stuff details - (if they exist) for an article.

I have no plans to modify my truck. ;-)

I do have a 1973 up truck servo bracket, but I am specifically interested in the Sweptline era possibility here.

Never seen one and its not listed in the factory service manual
