Valve Springs 318 Polyhead
Valve Springs 318 Polyhead
My cylinder heads are at the machine shop, but the valve springs I was sold Melling Part# VS150 have a spring pressure of 180. In the OSM spring pressure should be between 137-150 for both intake and exhaust springs. The free length for the Melling springs is correct at 2" Will they work? I do not want to have valve train trouble later on. If not, is there a good Mopar part # for the correct springs?

Are you replacing the cam? If so, I'd be more concerned with cam spec and recommendation from cam manufacturer.
