Does anyone have photos of the shifter to transmission linkage?

Or...... Were the A-230s only available with three on the tree? I looked at one out of a truck today, but the shift handle is later B-body and the linkage and levers are aftermarket. So it appeared to be a conversion.

I think with trucks the 3 speeds were column shift, 4 speeds were floor. But I'm not certain.

Correct. All A230 3spd manuals in the '69-'71 Sweptlines were column
shift. Pre-'69 A745 3spd manuals were also all column shift.
