Crossmember questions???
I’m getting ready to put the 440 in the place of the old poly? My question is will the hydro bell for BB sit happily on the crossmember that originally had a SB hydro bell attached? The bell is physically wider. I’m concerned if the mounting points are the same.

I'm pretty sure they are the same & don't recall anyone ever needing to swap crossmembers.

I’m on the same page of think they are the same. Before I pull the working small block I would like to know the new idea will work without looking for more parts while the truck is apart

BB Hydraulic Bell sits right on same holes as SB Hydraulic Bell

The bell housing cross member in your truck will work with the
big block hydraulic clutch style bell housing.

And isn't easily changed regardless, since it is riveted to the frame!
