3 speed on the tree shifter bushings

Post by Volksnut »

While doing a steering box swap I had to loosen the steering column and noticed some slop in the linkage. Is there supposed to be a bushing at the bottom? I ended up removing the column to get a closer look.

Speaking of the end with the end washer, (the U bolt looking bracket) mine has 2 pegs to keep the shaft centered, one is almost gone so thats where my slop is. Does yours have the 2 pegs?

Make a new tab with a welder, grinder and file.

Nice picture and illustration.

I would be interested in a complete set for a 1967 D100 with a 318 and 3 speed.

Do you have that and how might we proceed?
