Can anyone I.D. this 3 speed, it's not the original in my '63 D100, so what is it, has a rear mount...so later?

Okay then....looking at the pictures again I noticed a back up light switch....when did they start installing those there? The trucks in the air right now, I can look for an i.d # and where is it located.
