426 Wedge install

Post by Wedge »

I want to install a 426 Wedge motor in my 65. Does anyone know if the big cast iron ram horn exhaust manifolds that go up and back down used in Wedge cars from 62-64 clear on drivers side? Has anyone seen this done? Thanks!

Hopefully he can find a way to steer clear of them.

By "steer clear" I meant that the steering tube and shaft would clear the manifold. One of those opportunities I couldn't pass up.

I am not that far in project. Will have to wait till I get motor in and try the exhaust just wondering if anyone else had used a set of theses manifolds in truck before. Yeah I'm worried they will hit steering. Really want to use them. Too cool not too!

That was understood and agreed. I just can't pass up the opportunity for an exercise in pathetic license.

I saw this on FB from Josh. Looks like the master cylinder had to be relocated.
