where are the 361 and 413 truck engines stamped? I think my engine might be a 413 and not a 361

The 361 is stamped on the flat area that has the distributor hole in it.
I sold all of my sweptline trucks,except the invisible one. I just couldn't stand to see it go!

If memory serves it would be 36T.
I sold all of my sweptline trucks,except the invisible one. I just couldn't stand to see it go!

I also think all 413 truck engines were 4V carbs and 361 truck engines were 2V carbs.
I sold all of my sweptline trucks,except the invisible one. I just couldn't stand to see it go!

tha nks for replies. I will look tomorrow. the 413 did also come with a 2 barrel. 4 barrel only an option. might have been standard on very large trucks

I had a 361 with a 4bbl manifold on it. Had been swapped into a 66 D300.

do I need to remove the dist hold down to see the stamping?

location should be to the left of distributor.
