i have a later 361 truck engine in my D300. the later use the smaller carb bolt pattern like a stromberg WW3. I have a carb from earlier 361 truck and its much larger Carter BBD. I am wondering which one gets better mileage. Truck now has a piece of junk holley on it that will go to scrap. runs horrible and too rich. problaby blown power valve like most holleys.
so has anyone compared mileage between BBD and WW3 on a big block?
