Hello
I just installed a new gas tank on my 66 Dodge A100 Pickup . The fuel inlet point on the tank in very low. How does the tank get full with inlet port is towards the bottom ??
Thanks

Re: Fuel tank
The hose for the filler would be up higher than the tank inlet.

Re: Fuel tank
That would only work if there is an air bleed at the high point of the tank. Same reason you can't mount a slave cyl upside down.
Re: Fuel tank
It just seems like that because the gas level is higher than the inlet you would pushing the gas uphill.

Re: Fuel tank
Its not perfect but close. Somebody has posted the Fuel Sending units OHMs somewhere on the site, i am too lazy too look for it. i think the ford is
90 ohms empty, 7 ohms full range where the dodge is 73 ohms empty, 10 ohms full range. I am sure someone will correct if i am wrong
