Throttle linkage stud size

Swapping out the manifold and carb on my 69 d100 318 NP435 to a dual plane with an edelbrock performer carb. The performer says it comes with a "Throttle Cable Ball-End Stud - 10-32 x .250”. I am not sure how that is measured. So wondering either if someone can tell me how to measure the ball-end stud on my stromberg 3-238 or if the edelbrock just fits and nothing to worry about. There are about 15 different stud sizes and adapters available from edelbrock to chose from but all are extra $$... I am doing the swap over christmas vacation week and lining up all the little bits to install the carb. I have the manifold already.

don't know the exact answer to your question,
but if you could measure your current ball stud, you should be able to figure it out...

my guess is 10-32 is the threads on the back of the stud and 1/4" is the diameter of the ball itself.

coelcanth is correct is correct. It is a 1/4 diameter ball and the ball stud is a # 10-32 thread.

Great! That is what I needed to know. I will measure the current ball at its largest spot.

I do not have an extra one. If I end up not using my current one, I will let one know.

Throttle linkage worked without any changes. No brackets or adapters required.
