Hey Guys,

I just bought this 64 D-100, I'm wanting to put a Hemi in it. Should I change out the transmission in it also. Right now it has a 74 something motor in it( the guy I bought it from put a V8 something in it) and and the transmission is a 4 speed. and Are there any in expensive independent suspensions kits out there for the truck.

What is the "V8" something? Maybe its already has a good engine in it! And I'll agree...nothing is inexpensive! My :2cents

A good OEM 426 in running condition would probably set you back at least $10,000.00. I watched a TV show pay $11,00.00 for a good used 426 only to discover the block was cracked and unusable. For Fiat Chrysler or Chrysler fans the 426 is the Holy Grail and priced accordingly.
