Rear Driveshaft fit

New to the forum! Picked up a 69 d100. I looked at a few when purchasing, so I'm not yet an expert. One thing on my new truck that doesn't look right to me is the gap on the spline shaft to the rear driveshaft. See attached. Is this pretty normal or should I be looking closer at something else that is wrong. Truck is in remarkable shape and drives etc exceptionally well. It is going to be a driver for my wife.

That slip yoke slides back and forth as the truck goes over bumps, dips and the suspension flexes. Totally normal.

Thanks! All of my other trucks have been SWB so that yoke is new to me! Thanks for the help!

Yes, that's good as is. You need a bit of run out, as Terry mentioned. :Thumbsup
