Missing linkage

Well, I went and bought a second Swepty, a '62 V8 with the typewriter. Someone has installed a chineseium carb on it and it doesn't have the proper linkage for the kickdown lever. The rod is there with nothing to attach it to. Anyone have a pic of what is supposed to be there? A friend dropped off a bucketful of Carters for it and all look to be set up for a stick. Thanks, E.

If he came back with a bucket full of Strombergs, you might fare
a bit better. :2cents :joker Somewhere, I have a complete carb
and linkage set up off a '62 D100 ..... :thinking I'll try to locate
it but can't make any promises. :salut There might be a picture
of this set up in a '62 era parts book too? :thinking

I went through this with my truck. Linkage was just laying on the intake and they put in a manual carb and choke.

I'll look and see if I took any photos. My Stromberg auto carb developed a vacuum leak and I just took it off and put
my b/u carb on. I should have it back and on the truck by the weekend if no one posts before then.

Got the carb back yesterday and had some time today to reinstall and took some photos.
The top rod is the throttle linkage and bottom is the tranny kick down. On the other
side I'm running the thermostat choke with a vacuum pull off. This isn't the original
carb to my 64' but it should be the factory set up from what I've researched.
