Dana 60 rear end differences ford/Chevy/dodge

If I needed to swap a rear in my 71 d200, does it have to be out of another dodge? Is there differences between ford danas and chevys and dodges?

Dana Holding Corporation is a brand. The differences are external.

I believe the Dodge & ford axle flanges are slightly larger in diameter than chevy :thinking

GM used a corporate 14 bolt rear in the older trucks, not a Dana 60.

Maybe someday I'll lean over and look underneath a chevy 3/4T truck.... :lol: :lol: I do know that
the chevy axle flange is slightly smaller though.
