This is on my 64 D100 Utiline with /6. I don't see anything in the service manual. Where is the best place to put the muffler? Thanks Craig

here's some photos of my muffler which i think was pretty close to the stock setup..

it's a 318 and not a six
and it's a sweptline, not utiline

but maybe they will help with some ideas ?

With all due respect, you need a roll of muffler wrap.

those photos were taken about two years ago on the lift at the muffler shop,
the same day i had a new system installed from the manifolds back..

Here is a pic from my '68 slant6 short bed. This is under the back of the cab on the driver side. Not sure if they all had this bracket. Mine is broke so i wired it up.
