Engine swap 91 for a 71 318

I'm new here, now what I'm wanting to do is swap a 91 for a 71. 318 for a 318, both are automatic. What would be the best way to go about it?

Just pull one out and put the other in. The 91 will have a roller cam and TBI, so there may not be a fuel pump eccentric in there. The 91 trans could be an overdrive which wont work with your 71 cross member or driveshaft. Just about everything that bolts to your 71 318 will work on the 91 318. In 92 the 318 was a magnum engine which can complicate things a little more.
