Automatic trans crossmember bracket

Post by spoilerecw »

Doing the swap from three speed to automatic and wondering if anyone has a pic of how the automatic crossmember brackets to frame are oriented? Cant' tell if I should face them toward front of vehicle or to back? Thanks

Someone recently posted a pic of Ben's chassis with eng and trans that shows the crossmember. I can't find it.

This a pre-'69 conversion from manual to automatic.

Thanks John but do brackets to frame face the rear of vehicle or face forward. Think it offsets the crossmember a lil forward or back depending on which way you face them? Thanks
