1968 W200 Master Clutch Cylinder

Post by Thomasmg »

I was installing a bad master clutch cylinder when I tried to remove a brass fitting that goes under the "throat" of the plunger. I broke it and have been trying to find a replacement. No luck yet ! I am not sure if that fitting (not the forward one that is a 90 degree fitting that attaches the hydraulic line to the slave) should be a plug or some kind of air passage ?? The existing one just doesn't seem to have a function. Please advise

The situation and parts you are describing are unclear due to non-standard terms. Post a pic to help with understanding.
