engine swap..

1967 d100 slant six 3 speed swapped to a 1974 la318 4 speed, i want to use the three speed tranny with the 318, what am i looking at to make this happen,

I just picked up a 67 D100 utiline and it looks like the slant that is currently in the truck might be shot. I am curious, what all did you have to do to make a 318 work in your truck? I am debating about whether or not I should just drop a 318 in there or have the slant rebuilt. Any advice would be appreciated!
