For the /6 guys, a question...

Post by OrangeRoughy »

I have another project going on a slant 6 Dodge Dart. It has dealer-installed AC (original) and the strangest lower radiator hose I've ever seen. It runs across the motor, following the shape of the timing cover and connects to the driver's side lower radiator neck :thinking ? Typically, the slant six cars had upper and lower on the same side. This is a molded hose and the car is very unmolested so I believe it is correct for the dealer-installed AC & using the 273 v8 radiator. My question, did any of the truck equipped sixes use a hose like that?? I'm trying to find a replacement and coming up "0".

Thanks

Have you taken the hose into a part's supplier and let them match it up?
Unless you can come up with the parts list out of the a/c kit,I doubt you will have any luck just asking at the counter.
