clutch question

Post by wideblock »

i have a 66d100 that im swapping from 3spd to 4spd here soon. it has the 11" course spline disc and the lever type pressure plate (3 fingers). my question is this. will the diaphram type pressure plate work on this set up? just retain the course spline disc and use the newer style diaphram pressure plate to get rid of my rpm problems and make it a bit smoother. any body have any ideas on this???

Trey,
That sounds like a question for Jeff Clare. I noticed your post on the
other sites too.... sorry I can't help out. Maybe Bud Thorpe could help
you out [ powerwagon54@hotmail.com ] .... he used to run AABLE
Auto Wrecking up in Camus, Washington and knows his stuff. Good
luck.
