Spark Plugs

Post by TerryL »

I've got a '62 D100 with a 225 slant six, 1 bbl and a three speed manual. very basic and stock truck. (I might be adding pertronix ignition at some point in the future).

What brand and part #of spark plugs do y'all recommend for this application? The engine isn't a '62, I believe that it's a '64 or so, if that matters.

Thanks,
Terry Lynch

Hi Terry,
Here's some info on the "leaning tower of power" slant six.

Autolite 56 (nonresistor), 66 (resistor), or AP66 spark plugs for pre-1975 SL6.

This is from an article on allpar;
