67 d100 utline rear mount gas tank

see a guy post about putting a rear mounted gas tank in a sweptline
he said he used a mustang tank and it uses the same ohm fuel sender as dodge
any body done this ?? if so what vintage mustang

mine is a utiline thinking could do a 45deg fill and send it out the back
